Martin Gradhand selected as Topdyn Visiting Professor 2020
In the last Meeting of the TopDyn Steering Committee Martin Gradhand has been selected as a Visiting Professor. Originally from Halle, Martin Gradhand became Lecturer at the University of Bristol in 2016 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2020 and he has received a number of prizes and accolades. He works on non-trivial electronic phases and materials with strong spin - orbit coupling highly relevant to the researh in TopDyn. The Visiting Professorship program, which was pioneered by the Graduate School of Excellence Materials Science in Mainz (https://www.mainz.uni-mainz.de/mainz-visiting-professors/) has served to link leading figures to Mainz. The Visiting Professorship provides financial support to spend time in Mainz and collaborate with Members of TopDyn.
